We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate individual to join our consumer marketing team as Director of Strategic Partnerships.  You will be a part of an exciting opportunity to reimagine a new world of enjoyment for our Adult Consumers. Backed with experience and best-in-class industry capabilities, you will lead the development of strategic marketing partnerships for our company and broad portfolio of brands through a digital-first mindset.  Strategic partnerships that cut across traditional & digital channels are important to our brand & business growth and help further augment our consumer experiences.
The successful candidate will develop a partnerships strategy (across many industries), manage the new partnerships pipeline, conducting partnership outreach, negotiating terms and agreements, and driving to execution. We are looking for a senior marketing professional who is a self-starter with a proven track record of success.  The preferred candidate will enjoy managing and growing relationships with partners and is comfortable owning the full life cycle of partner projects from idea to execution.


The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Create a pipeline and secure alliances with external media & content partners focusing on editorial strategy and content distribution plans
  • Through strategic partnerships, ensure connection between brand and consumer PR across all touchpoints, ensuring effective amplification on owned & earned platforms
  • Ideate and launch branded participation platforms (e.g. music & talent) and create communication strategies aligned to our target audience passion points aligned to the platform owners
  • Forge unique partnerships that drive creative content innovation, experiential & WOM initiatives
  • Lead the strategy, selection, and performance management (goal setting and tracking) to establish and nurture meaningful relationships with key partners
  • Activate deals by developing and launching innovative programs that advance exposure for our brands in a way that is also beneficial for the partners
  • Help to define the role of partners within our marketing strategies and develop & implement programs with our partners, including media (across traditional & digital channels) and influencer plans as key components
  • Guide partners on optimal product integrations, partnering with brand teams on execution
  • Provide leadership by collaborating with a broad, cross-functional team of peers (Brand Marketing, Marketing Finance, Marketing Research, Trade Marketing, Marketing Operations, R&D, Legal, & External Relations)

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree Required; MBA / Masters degree preferred


Knowledge/Experience:

  • No less than 8 years professional experience
  • Experience managing brand partnerships, product integrations, and content strategies
  • Demonstrated track record of high personal and team performance
  • Record of developing self and others
