ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Marketing - Brand Marketing (Combustibles)
The role is responsible for RGM strategies and initiatives that accelerate NTO growth, Gross Margin expansion, and Value/Volume share gains for Traditional Categories at Reynolds
Reports to: Senior Director RGM Strategy
Reporting Level: No Direct Reports
Geographic Scope: DRBU
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Builds breakthrough RGM strategies and initiatives that accelerate NTO growth, Gross Margin expansion, and Value/Volume share gains for Traditional Categories at Reynolds
- Develops a robust brand/portfolio strategy and price/pack architectures to reflect the organization’s changing requirements and a dynamic competitive landscape
- Provide business and consumer-based pricing-related insights and perspective related to competitor activities, trends, and interactions between categories and across price segments
- Maintain, augment and enhance the company’s existing price & share modeling efforts
- Coordinate and implement a wide array of analytical approaches and modeling, demonstrating technological resources expansive of regression engines, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and scenario planning modules
- Use datasets of shipments, pricing, retail offtake, and transaction-level data to develop critical business intelligence and insights, with a specific focus on the continued development and analytics related to Shipments, Retail Scan Data (RSD), and Shopper Card data
- Collaborate with Brand/Consumer Marketing, MI&I, and Commercial Finance organization leaders to ensure an aligned Strategy and Annual Operating Plans with appropriate revenue, margin, and share objectives
- In collaboration with the cross-functional steering committee, ensure RGM alignment with the parent company’s Global Revenue Sustainability program
- Build RGM capabilities through a combination of internal and cross-functional team development
CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
- Do you have experience with market structures and price elasticities?
- Have you built a Price/Pack Architecture? Single or Multi-year?
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- 5-8+ years of experience in pricing, promotion, sales analytics, finance, and/or category management
- Experience in consumer goods strongly preferred
- Large data set management experience including internal, scan, and shopper card
- KPI/Scorecard development, deployment, and management
- Strong ability to build trusting cross-functional partnerships
- Successful experiences leading and developing others
- BS/BA degree required; Master’s degree preferred
