ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of the Marketing department - Trade Marketing & Distribution - Field
The role is responsible to develop and execute a territory marketing and distribution plan that meets the activation, volume, distribution, retail activation and commercial objectives of the brand.
Reports to: Associate - Field Force Management
Reporting Level: Non Managerial
Geographic Scope: Medellín
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Directly responsible for guaranteeing availability of PRRPs strategic portfolio within assigned POS universe via order taking and direct contact with delivery rep in order to manage orders and active inventory in POS.
- Accountable for the delivery of PRRP orders within 24 hrs via direct coordination with delivery supervisor for each territory.
- Product quality : Ensure that stocks are monitored and rotated in predetermined time intervals in order to comply with the companies stocking policy (FIFO - first in first out), product returns (PRRPs, Shelf life 12 months for device & ecaps) recollected aligned with internal policy.
- OOS : Manage retail stocks to avoid OOS by driving/influencing order quantity, inventory rotation and POS movements of the latter (low rotations SKUs) and guaranteeing availability of high rotation SKUs understanding demand per outlet (SOQ, last sales vs current inventory, focus on PRRPs).
- Ensure the right product availability at the right place aligned with SAO portfolio and Shopper Channel strategic approach, both for PRRPs & FMCs.
- Product visibility : Install and refresh BAT touchpoint materials according to retail contracts, cycle & shopper campaign plans (eg Permanent, semi-permanent displays, plannograms, price tags, promotions, discounts, etc.)
- Retailer engagement : Educate, engage and motivate retailers to speak on BAT products and brands to adult shoppers of both Tobacco and PRRP products. Run defined retailer engagement programs (B2B) in retail.
- Retailer investment : Ensure retail awareness of TCI elements, establish & manage retail contracts and monitor compliance by performance tracking. Allocate pay for compliance & pay for performance payments to outlets.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Have previous experience in the commercial area
- More than 1 year of experience in trade (field work)
- Have demonstrable communication, negotiation skills and the ability to influence
- Be a proactive person with leadership skills
- Manage Office at an intermediate level.
- Have a driver's license for a vehicle, desirable for a motorcycle
- Have a university degree in any of the following careers: Marketing, Business Administration, or similar.
