ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of Indirect Operations Procurement.

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for designated Indirect goods and services for non-marketing spend categories throughout CEN and implementing sustainable sourcing strategies and processes to deliver significant competitive advantage to BAT.

Reports to: Commercial Procurement Business Manager Central Europe North – Non-Marketing

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: CEN DRBU

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Managing CEN settlements and supplier selection within the framework of the designated category strategies and sourcing strategies.
  • Contributing actively to the set Commercial Non-Marketing Procurement KPI´s such as procurement savings & payment term targets
  • Managing supplier relationships proactively including innovation enablement and supplier review meetings
  • Capturing and reporting compliance to Procurement policy through Procurement Business Manager
  • Challenging demand and requirements and managing customer expectations to ensure compliance and to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop detailed understanding of financial evaluation and interpretation of supplier’s records and their key cost and business drivers
  • Applying global policies, processes, standards, and platforms including the agreed Sourcing Management methodology and approach to deliver robust terms and conditions

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Work experience on a similar position, preferably in an FMCG or international company
  • Leading projects with proven track of successfully delivered outcome and very good cooperation with team members
  • Knowledge of corporate regulations and legislation to ensure the creation of effective contracts
  • Excellent commercial awareness with strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Interpersonal skills and capability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Strong customer focus and capability to quickly establish working relationships and build networks
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in Polish & English
