SECTION 2: PURPOSE STATEMENT
He shall be responsible for the management of receiving and storage of all wrapping materials both inbound and outbound. He shall ensure that right materials and right quantity are supplied to production via Seven Day Store. He shall understand and fulfil requirement for critical goods and services.

SECTION 4: PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Purpose:
To provide effective co-ordination of all WM functions such as receipts, issues, stock-taking and posting of records into SAP, SAP WM and TaO.
Operational/Technical/Professional Results
4.1. Management of Records in the Warehouse.
4.2.Maintenance of proper storage of all company stocks in the warehouse, effective receipts of stock and despatch to external/internal customers, avoidance of loss, damage or write- offs.
4.3.Enforcement of compliance with BAT EHS/EMS guidelines in all the warehouse activities.
4.4.Minimisation of cost through effective use of resources.
4.5 Produce error-free month-end report after stocktaking and reconciliation for all warehouses.
4.6.Ensure that the procedure for receiving incoming materials from the supplier and its supplies for seven days store are strictly adhered to.
4.7.Carry out SAP inter-warehouse transfer from WI (Wrapping Material Store) to 7I (Seven Day Sore) and (Bonded warehouse).
4.8.Confirm daily WMS SAP inter-warehouse transfer and reconcile with the physical stock in the warehouse.
4.9.Prepare weekly stock status report for Warehouse, Bonded warehouse & other external warehouses i.e. (FGS4 and Old Canteen, and forward the report to Planning).
4.10.Ensure Nil stock-out on all materials supplied to Seven Days Store at any point in time.
4.11.Ensure that the method of First-In First-Out (FIFO) is strictly adhered to.
4.12.Ensure close monitoring of all materials within the stipulated shelf-life.
4.13.Ensure reduction in truck demurrage cost due to waiting time in the factory.
4.14Utilisation of truck and all equipment in other to meet OTIF.
4.15.Liaising with Planning and Import desk for full visibility of inbound materials.

- External environment
The role requires interaction with the external customer and labour contractor.
- Internal environment
The internal function basically has to do with the other department in BATN Ibadan factory such as SMD, PMD, Filter Rod, Finance, planning and other department that has to with warehousing operation.

- Knowledge/Qualifications
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the warehousing procedure and processes
- Good understanding of warehousing system
- Skills
- Ability to operate across all hierarchy levels, providing information and support as required.
- Good inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, work independently and deliver according to defined deadlines.
- Sound Knowledge of Word processing, Spreadsheet and power point.
- Experience
- Effective use of SAP (Material Management and general stock management in SAP).

SECTION 9: JOB CHALLENGES/PROBLEM SOLVING
The main challenges for this role are-:
- Compliance to all EHS/EMS guidelines to avoid work accident in the warehouse
- That all materials are stored and supplied using FIFO principle.
- Prompt supply of material to SMD OTIF with the appropriate code.
SECTION 10: WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal working relationships
The role requires good working relationships with other customers like SMD, Finance, Planning ,Procurement and other unit that has to do with warehousing operation.
- External working relationships:
Regular interaction is required with labour contractor provider and logistics like DHL,DAMCO,DELOG as well as Nigeria CUSTOMS.
