BAT GBS IS LOOKING FOR  A Regional Performance Manager

SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level

FUNCTION: GBS ENA

LOCATION: Bucharest

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for supporting the GBS hub management with all activities related to performance management through the managing and execution of the operating results, Key Performance Indicators analysis and review reporting as well as the budget planning. Collect, understand, analyze and provide the analytics and intelligence behind the data, connected to internal and external factors, to qualify the gaps and opportunities, focusing on improving the business performance within the GBS hub and leading simplification initiatives. The role will also handle relevant partners and actively searching for ways to add value at regional level along and improve reporting quality.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Coordinate the monthly performance review cycle within the hub including coordination for operating rhythm and routines;
  • Work together with regional operational teams on identifying deviations from targets, change in trends and clarifying root cause;
  • Ongoing optimization of the performance management process continuously identifying areas for improvements in terms of time and quality;
  • Provide monthly input and updates relating to GBS hub performance to the GBS Global Strategy and Performance Management team for the analysis and coordination for a global GBS view;
  • The ability to make decisions and recommendations regarding the practices aimed at Data Quality and Integrity;
  • Ensuring that Data Quality and Integrity principles at global level are incorporated and supported in the GBS Planning and Reporting Community;
  • Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives, with the purpose of simplification, automation and for the adoption of innovative ways to work.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Cross-functional business experience to be able to interpret and corelate performance indicators at multi-functional/global level and further drive business insights;
  • Experience in a global FMCG company/GBS environment or in a similar dynamic operational environment;
  • Service management, operational metrics and scorecards, and experience within a dynamic global shared service operating model (preferred);
  • Ability to formulate and articulate a perspective and present it in a way to create understanding and alignment on issues;
  • Experience of identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement;
  • Lean Green or Black Belt is an asset;
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics/Data visualization tools/data ingestion technologies/digital performance management tools: BI / Reporting tools such as: Tableau or MicroStrategy;
  • Good practical knowledge of the financial reporting systems across the group (SAP Business Intelligence, SAP ECC and SAP business planning and consolidation).
